D.I.Y: 1992 Acura Legend sedan hood props
This is not the best write up or the best pictures but I hope it does help some one out there, this is one of the easys mods you could do well here it goes.
Things needed:
• 1992 Acura Legend sedan hood props
• Drill
• ¼” Drill bit (titanium)
• M8× 1. 25 Tap wrench set
• Grease (optional)
• 10mm socket
• Wrench
• Marker
• ½ wrench
Step 1:
Open your hood, locate the spot were your going to drill the hole, use your marker and mark were your going to drill it about where it has a little bump on the bottom before it curves.
Setp 2:
Carefully start drilling the hole using your drill bit, after the bit goes all the way through, its time to tap the hole(lol) using the 8x1.25 tap wrench and just twisted like if you were screwing a screw, and just remove the tap wrench on the opposite way, and now the hole is taped.
Sept 3:
Apply grease on the screw of the hood prop so it wont rust later on with time, then screw the prop on using a ½ wrench once it tide enough.
Sept 4:
Unscrew the middle bolt of your fender, and just place the hoop prop where that middle bolt was and just screw it back on tide, and your done with one side and for the other side just start back on step 1
